Neil Newstead is a forward-thinking entrepreneur and leader. He is the CEO and co-founder of a successful estate agency, Oakfield Estate Agents, and a strong promoter of superior customer service in all aspects of his business. Although he has over 20 years of experience in the field, Neil didn’t always know that he wanted to go into the property industry.
Newstead began his career by serving in the army, a duty he completed in 1995. From there, he attained employment with a small property company. It didn’t take long before he was enthralled by the market. He spent a good deal of time observing sales and leadership tactics and taking notes as to which ones best served both the company and the customer. He focused on building strong foundations that he could use later on in his career. Problem-solving, goal setting, collaboration, communications, and people skills were extremely important to the aspiring entrepreneur. When the time came for him to professionally progress in his field, Neil Newstead started Oakfield Estate Agents.
A progressive estate agency, Oakfield Estate Agents focuses primarily on sales, block management, and lettings. The company has won several awards, is NFOPP certified, and is governed by the Association of Residential Managing Agents (ARMA) and SafeAgent. Thanks to Newstead’s focus on market expansion, Oakfield Estate Agents has branch locations in East Sussex in Hastings, Eastbourne and Bexhill, and St. Leonards.
Neil works to educate and empower each of his forty plus employees, believing that a well-developed knowledge base and a strong leader enables his team to become experts and that experts are in the best interest of the clients. In order to ensure that the Oakfield staff is adequately prepared for a career in property sales, Newstead personally visits each office regularly. You’ll rarely find him behind a desk as he prefers to lead by example, promoting company standards and overseeing operations in person.
When Neil Newstead is not advocating for his clients or encouraging his employees, he finds joy in spending quality time with his wife and their two children, Madison and Austin. He shares his inspirational attitude and admirable values with each of his family members. Together, they enjoy educational activities like traveling and visits to the zoo.
